Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification
- Prior experience working as an OT in a school setting preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective intervention plans for students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and create individualized intervention plans to support academic and functional success
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, implementing evidence-based techniques
- Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
- Maintain and document progress, ensuring compliance with educational and healthcare guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding student progress and needs
- Support school staff with strategies for classroom adaptations, sensory processing, and fine motor skill development
