Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license for Delaware (DE license required)
- Experience delivering OT services within a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with educators, families, and support staff
- Comfortable with managing a variety of student needs across elementary, middle, and high school environments
- Candidates must provide an up-to-date resume and valid DE Occupational Therapist license with application
- Willingness to complete $85 CBC fingerprinting (confirmed agreement required prior to submission)
- Please note: COTAs are not eligible for this position
Position Details:
- Full academic year contract: August 25, 2026, through June 8, 2027
- Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week (30-minute unpaid lunch daily)
- Openings as follows:
- Split position between Lancashire and Maple Lane Elementary
- Placement at Mount Pleasant Elementary
- Split role between a middle and high school setting
- Onsite, school-based roles with supportive teams
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services and consult with staff to adapt classroom activities
- Help students build skills for educational participation and daily routines
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of progress and outcomes
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student planning
