As a virtual Occupational Therapist, you’ll provide evaluations and attend tri-annual IEP meetings, while also leveraging your supervisory experience to guide up to two COTAs. Candidates must have prior experience supervising COTAs and must meet all Delaware state requirements for OT supervision in schools.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Delaware
- Minimum of one year supervising COTAs in a school-based setting
- Previous experience working in virtual or teletherapy environments preferred
- Familiarity with conducting evaluations, preparing documentation, and participating in IEP meetings
- Able to independently manage caseloads and prioritize student needs
- Full compliance with Delaware OT supervision standards and certification requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual OT services to a diverse school caseload
- Supervise up to two COTAs, offering guidance and oversight in accordance with Delaware regulations
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and complete related documentation
- Participate in tri-annual IEP meetings, providing expertise to the educational team
- Maintain excellent communication with school staff and families
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required district paperwork
