Qualifications
- Valid and current Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Adaptable and proactive approach to meeting students’ varying needs
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop effective intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements
- Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations to support student success
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students
