Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a skilled Occupational Therapist. Enjoy the convenience of a Monday-Friday schedule, working a full 37.5-hour week for the duration of the school year. The role is set to begin as soon as possible, enabling you to make an immediate impact on the students' development and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current NC OT license required
- Previous experience in school-based OT, home health, and/or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfort working with elementary-aged children, adapting interventions as needed
- Commitment to professional standards and ethical practice
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Support the transition of therapy recommendations into the classroom environment
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school community
