Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure in Occupational Therapy
- Minimum of one year of experience working as an OT in a school-based setting
- Background in Early Intervention or relevant pediatric practice
- Strong communication and organizational skills to partner with educators and families
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing caseloads and schedules
Role Overview:
- Provide occupational therapy services to preschool students, with an initial part-time summer schedule (approximately 15 hours per week)
- Increase hours during the academic year based on student referrals and caseload needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students’ growth and participation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP planning and reporting, ensuring compliance with state regulations
