Begin with a flexible, part-time schedule (1-2 days per week) and seamlessly transition into a full-time position from late October through early February to cover a maternity leave. Work alongside educators and families to support students’ growth in both individual and group settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Prior experience working with children in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and adapt individualized treatment plans
- Knowledge of IEP process and documentation requirements
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in compliance with IEP goals and state regulations
- Evaluate and assess students to determine therapy needs and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports
- Contribute actively to multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
Schedule Details:
- ASAP start with part-time hours (1-2 days/week)
- Transition to full-time schedule (35 hours/week, 8:00am–3:30pm) October 31 through February 1
