Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid and current state OT licensure.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, especially with K-4th grade students, is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with teachers, families, and other professionals.
- Ability to assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and document progress effectively.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and adaptive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services for students in grades K-4.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapeutic interventions.
- Work collaboratively with educators and support staff to implement strategies that promote student success.
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Deliver evidence-based OT practices and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Educate staff and families on best practices for student support.
