Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience delivering therapy services within school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, monitoring, and implementation
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Compassionate approach to working with children of diverse backgrounds and ability levels
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students’ functional abilities and needs
- Develop individualized treatment goals and plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in various classroom and resource settings
- Monitor student progress and document interventions and outcomes, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide training, resources, and support to teachers and families for optimal student participation
- Participate actively in team meetings and professional development activities
