Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a school-based team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping students develop the skills needed to succeed academically, socially, and independently within the school setting.
The Occupational Therapist will provide services across schools and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and participation in the classroom environment.
Position Responsibilities
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students
Support fine motor skills, sensory processing, handwriting, self-care, visual-motor integration, and functional classroom participation
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and therapeutic strategies as needed

Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Oklahoma Occupational Therapist License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
