Early Childhood Grades 6 - 8 Occupational Therapist School Setting in Olympia, WA

Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting students within Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school settings. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school settings, ideally with diverse grade levels (Pre-K through Grade 12)
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to partner with teachers, administrators, and families
- Familiarity with best practices for supporting students with a variety of physical, sensory, or developmental challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine OT needs within the educational setting
- Plan and deliver therapy tailored to each student’s goals, both individually and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to teams supporting student growth
- Keep accurate records of assessments, progress, and interventions
- Serve as a resource to school staff on strategies for supporting students’ occupational therapy needs
