Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as an onsite Occupational Therapist for the 26/27 school year. This full-time contract opportunity involves serving K-12 students within a supportive educational environment. You’ll manage a caseload of approximately 20 children, providing both direct therapy and evaluation, while also offering guidance and supervision to two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license.
- Prior experience in school settings (K-12) strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in evaluation, planning, and implementation of IEPs.
- Ability to supervise and support COTAs effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload.
- Conduct assessments and complete timely evaluations for students as required.
- Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans.
- Supervise and mentor two COTAs, ensuring compliance with therapy plans and standards.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to support student progress and engagement.
This position offers a competitive compensation range of $40-$50+ per hour depending on your experience and qualifications, reflecting your expertise and commitment to student success.
