School Occupational Therapist - Orange, Massachusetts

Step into an impactful school-based Occupational Therapist opportunity, supporting students across multiple sites in a district-wide capacity. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in pediatric, educational, or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing needs
- Commitment to fostering independence and participation for students of varying abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct occupational therapy services within school environments, supporting students’ fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to implement strategies and accommodations that facilitate classroom success
- Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in team meetings
- Serve as a resource for occupational therapy best practices throughout the district
