Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for the state
- Previous experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEPs and developmentally appropriate interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to support a wide range of student needs
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students, implementing evidence-based interventions as part of their educational programs
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development and progress monitoring of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Document and report on student performance and therapy outcomes in accordance with best practices and compliance requirements
- Work closely with educators, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student success
- Educate and guide staff and caregivers in strategies that encourage student growth and participation
- Maintain accurate records and uphold the highest standards of ethical practice
This is a month-to-month, temporary contract position with one opening, beginning in early July. Flexibility and reliability are essential as you’ll play a key role in meeting student needs until the position is permanently filled.
