What we're looking for:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for school-based practice
- Previous experience working as an OT in school settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Comfort supporting students with diverse needs and working alongside teachers, parents, and staff
- Commitment to fostering student independence, participation, and success in an academic environment
- Reliable, flexible, and able to manage a part-time caseload (2-3 days per week)
Key responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their education plans
- Assess, develop, and implement therapy interventions tailored to student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Collaborate closely with educators, specialists, and families to support each student’s progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to planning sessions
- Deliver creative, evidence-based therapy in both classroom and pull-out settings
