Key Qualifications:
- Possess an active Illinois Occupational Therapy certification/license
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Adaptable and comfortable managing changing caseloads and schedules
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Capable of collaborating with educators, families, and related service professionals
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based OT services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and inform intervention planning
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to facilitate students’ access to the curriculum
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans to address student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in meetings as required
- Promote a supportive environment that fosters student growth and participation
