Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (IL OT) license
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration
- Enthusiasm for supporting students with a range of abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional needs
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans aligned with IEPs
- Deliver therapy services in both group and individual settings
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with school policies
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to ensure integrated support
- Contribute to IEP meetings and ongoing program development
