Taking on a caseload of around 30 students ranging from PreK through 21 years old, you’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and families, enriching your skillset with exposure to varied therapy approaches and leadership styles. This role enables you to work three or four days a week, providing the perfect balance of focused professional engagement and valuable time for self-discovery or relaxation.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist licensure in Kansas (KS)
- Experience in school-based settings or with a pediatric population preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptable to working with diverse student needs and ages (PreK-21 years)
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and implement individualized OT interventions for a caseload of approximately 30 students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and success
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster independence, mobility, and functional skills within the school environment
