Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state license to practice occupational therapy
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal-setting
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess and adapt interventions according to individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas for support
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans targeting fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
- Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to integrate strategies into classroom routines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs
- Provide ongoing documentation of student progress and adapt therapy goals as necessary
- Serve as a resource for families and school staff, offering insights and training to support student growth
