Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric therapy, IEP development, and implementation
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads covering K-12 students
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfort working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized goals
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services onsite to support students’ academic and functional success
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to integrate OT strategies into classroom activities
- Document services, progress, and maintain compliance with school and state policies
- Contribute to IEP team meetings, providing informed recommendations for student plans
- Support school staff through training and resource sharing related to occupational therapy practices
