Qualifications:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or in a school-based setting preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP process and ability to develop and implement therapy plans for diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Positive, flexible attitude and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to best support each student’s goals
- Maintain accurate records of interventions, progress, and compliance with federal and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for accommodations or adaptive equipment
