Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments to evaluate functional physical development and self-regulation, ensuring each child finds firm footing for success.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with student needs and learning objectives.
- Collaborate with educators and families to create equitable opportunities, supporting appropriate student placements.
- Identify and help remove environmental barriers in the classroom, recommending practical solutions for accessibility and participation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports, upholding ethical standards and compliance with state and federal requirements.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in New Hampshire
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt plans and strategies to meet diverse student needs
