Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and current Occupational Therapist certification in New Hampshire (NH).
- Background or experience working with school-aged children in educational or healthcare settings.
- Strong understanding of occupational therapy strategies within school environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, teachers, and families.
- Previous experience with direct (pull-out) and indirect (push-in) service delivery is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide OT services for an elementary caseload, developing and implementing individualized plans to support student participation and skill development.
- Conduct 2x/week pull-out OT sessions for 30 minutes and 1x/week push-in session for 30 minutes with a charter school student; morning sessions are available and can coordinate with the rest of your schedule.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote optimal learning environments and generalize OT strategies in classrooms.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with educational guidelines.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
