Occupational Therapist School Setting in Peyton, CO

This contract position offers both full time (37.5 hours weekly) and selective part time in-home service options, supporting multiple schools as part of a dedicated team. Your expertise will be integral across the school, home health, and teletherapy settings. You’ll provide evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, deliver both direct and indirect services, and advocate for student success in collaboration with educators and families.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active Colorado OT License and CDE teaching certification required
- Experience in at least one of the following: school-based, home health, or teletherapy OT settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development, assessments, and documentation for K-12 students
- Confident working across multiple school assignments and adapting to an itinerant schedule
- Effective communicator, bringing collaborative energy to meetings and planning
- Ability to manage a caseload model and adapt therapy delivery to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments and student evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized IEPs in alignment with district guidelines
- Provide direct and consultative OT services per student needs
- Deliver services via in-person and teletherapy modalities as assigned
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families for holistic student support
- Attend paid team meetings and manage administrative documentation in district systems
