Qualifications:
- Active and current state Occupational Therapy license (required at time of application)
- Up-to-date IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (must be present and valid)
- Previous experience in a school-based OT role strongly preferred
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs and individualized therapy interventions
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across PreK-8th grade
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing a variety of developmental, sensory, and functional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to create tailored support plans
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet evolving student goals
- Stay up to date on best practices and maintain required certifications and licenses
