- Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant documentation
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for students referred or identified with occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students’ educational goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in alignment with IEP requirements
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, sharing insights and recommendations with school staff and parents
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date case notes and progress reports
- Provide guidance, resources, and training to teachers and school personnel
- Stay current on best practices and continuing education in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
