Occupational Therapist School Setting in Plainfield, IL

Key Qualifications:
- Active OTR/L license and registration
- Previous school-based OT, home health, or teletherapy experience preferred
- Strong skills in both consultative and direct OT service delivery
- Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, including 3-year re-evaluations and annual reviews
- Comfortable leading 1:1 and small group OT interventions
- Effective communicator who thrives as part of a team
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 and transition (ages 18–21) students in one purpose-built facility
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations according to state and district guidelines
- Create, implement, and monitor effective individual and small group therapy strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and behavioral teams to support student needs
- Document progress and participate actively in annual reviews and IEP meetings
- Serve both consultative and direct service roles, adapting to student and program requirements
