Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and establish appropriate therapy goals and interventions
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students with diverse learning profiles
- Develop, document, and monitor progress on therapy plans in line with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support student development and access to curriculum
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide staff training as needed, and contribute expertise to foster a supportive learning environment
