We are seeking two dedicated Occupational Therapists to join a dynamic educational environment on a full-time contract basis starting in August. Choose between engaging with either an elementary or high school caseload, and experience the fulfillment of supporting students’ growth and success every day.
In these roles, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to deliver high-quality OT services tailored to each student’s individual needs. As a valued team member, you’ll help students develop essential motor, sensory, and adaptive skills to promote their independence and participation in school activities.
Desired Background & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid, current state OT license
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, or a strong desire to work with K-12 learners
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student populations and varying developmental levels
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Comfort with documentation, IEP meetings, and therapeutic data collection
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate student needs and write individualized OT plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions for assigned caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
- Maintain clear, thorough records of therapy sessions and progress reports
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Promote positive outcomes in students’ academic, social, and life participation
