Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with credentials to work in Illinois schools
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Experience with early childhood, kindergarten, first, or second grade helpful
- COTAs are not eligible for this position
- Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide occupational therapy interventions for students in EC, K, 1st, and 2nd grades
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document services and progress according to school and state guidelines
- Offer professional recommendations to enhance student participation and achievement in school activities
