This role is ideal for professionals seeking a part-time schedule. You'll work three days per week, totaling 24 hours, for the 2026-2027 school year from August 19th, 2026, to June 18th, 2027. Collaborate with dedicated educators and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized intervention plans designed to help students achieve their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapy License
- Previous experience delivering occupational therapy within schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to support students, families, and staff
- Ability to assess student needs and develop effective intervention strategies
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and progress tracking
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to K-8 students
- Provide direct occupational therapy services within the school setting
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal setting and progress reviews
- Educate and advise teachers, families, and caregivers on supportive strategies
- Accurately maintain documentation and ensure compliance with all required standards
