Step into a contract role providing impactful occupational therapy services within a supportive, collaborative school setting in the Raleigh, NC area. This full-time, on-site opportunity involves working with diverse student populations across multiple Western Wake County campuses on a year-round track.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Occupational Therapy (NCBOT) license
- Post-graduate OT degree (Master’s preferred)
- Demonstrated school-based experience (NC school experience highly preferred)
- ECATS and IEPs experience required
- Proficiency in Sensory Processing Measure–2 (SPM-2) and Sensory Profile 2
- Familiarity with commonly used standardized assessments in school-based OT
- Comfortable conducting motor screenings, OT evaluations, and interpreting assessment results within educational settings
- Must secure NPI number and register with NC Tracks prior to start
- Completion of DCDEE fingerprinting and Wake CPS background check required
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver and document OT services for students, supporting their access to educational programs and participation in school activities
- Administer appropriate assessments and evaluations to inform team planning and decision-making
- Collaborate with educators, families, and special education teams to develop and implement individualized supports and IEPs
- Provide consultative and direct therapy services based on caseload and workload model
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal documentation standards
