School Occupational Therapist - Reno, Nevada

What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Nevada (NV OT License required)
- Experience working in K-12 settings, preferably across both elementary and secondary populations
- Familiarity with traditional OT responsibilities: student therapy, assessments, and evaluations
- Ability to travel between 1-2 assigned locations within a district-wide setting
- Strong collaboration skills with other therapists, teachers, and school staff
- Comfort working with a caseload of 50-55 students and adapting to a mix of settings
- Willingness to provide or receive supervision, depending on credentials
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services and direct interventions based on IEP goals
- Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary IEP teams
- Prepare documentation, progress reports, and evaluation summaries using district systems (training provided as needed)
- Engage in paid indirect hours for team meetings, administrative tasks, and student planning
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students to maximize participation and independence
