Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapy license
- Experience working in a school-based environment is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs and student evaluation processes
- Skilled in providing therapy to students throughout elementary, middle, and high school age groups
- Excellent communication abilities with students, families, and educational teams
- Organization and adaptability to manage multiple priorities across different school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in classrooms, small groups, or one-on-one
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student goals
- Monitor progress and document outcomes according to school and regulatory guidelines
- Support adaptive strategies and modifications to help students access curriculum and school activities
- Participate in meetings and contribute to IEP development
