As a travel occupational therapist in a school-based environment, you’ll work with students in grades K-9. Supporting an evolving caseload, you’ll develop and implement individualized therapy plans, broaden your skills through exposure to new workplace practices, and collaborate with school leadership teams. Qualifications:
- Valid OT license in Ohio (or eligibility)
- Clinical experience with K-9 student populations preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of 18 students, totaling approximately 3,260 minutes of therapy per quarter
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Experience with IEP development and school-based interventions
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students (max 12 hours/week)
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and report progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with faculty and families
- Adapt interventions to the educational setting and student needs
