Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience or strong interest working within a school environment, ideally with K-9 students
- Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently within allotted weekly hours
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills for interacting with staff, students, and families
- Understanding of IEP processes and ability to document therapy sessions effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy interventions aligned with each student’s IEP goals
- Assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional skills to support academic and social participation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation for all mandated therapy minutes and progress reports
- Offer insight at IEP meetings and provide staff training as needed
