Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Nevada (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in school-based settings is preferred
- Comfortable serving a diverse student population across elementary, middle, and high school
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans in collaboration with educational staff
- Commitment to supporting inclusive educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students’ functional abilities within the educational environment
- Develop individualized goals and treatment plans to foster student participation and independence
- Provide direct occupational therapy services, both individually and in groups, within school settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, administrative staff, and families to optimize outcomes for each student
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation and revision of student goals
- Offer training, resources, and consultation to school staff and families when needed
