Working with a diverse K-12 population, you'll play a vital role in helping students reach their fullest potential through targeted assessments, individualized therapy, and hands-on participation in IEP teams. This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week and involves collaboration across multiple schools, supporting scholars from elementary through high school.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington OT license and ESA certification required
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of caseload management by direct service minutes
- Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver between 900-950 direct service minutes weekly across 4-5 school sites, depending on student needs
- Provide assessments, develop intervention strategies, and implement therapy for K-12 students
- Participate in IEP meetings, compile reports, and document student progress
- Consult with educators, staff, and families to create supportive learning conditions
- Adapt to a combination of elementary and secondary student needs while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Engage in professional development and contribute to best practices within the clinical school team
