This full-time, .75 FTE contract position is for the 2026/2027 school year and offers an opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and fellow professionals, enriching the lives of children and adolescents.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, with understanding of the IEP process
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to creating equitable and supportive environments for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations of students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
- Deliver direct and indirect therapeutic services in accordance with IEP goals
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress within classroom and school activities
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Engage in professional development to remain current with best practices in school-based occupational therapy
