What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina
- Demonstrated experience in school settings with students from PreK-12th grade
- Proficiency in Medicaid documentation, billing, and filing procedures
- Knowledge and familiarity with ECATS or similar electronic note-keeping systems
- Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage and prioritize a moderate caseload effectively
- Collaborative spirit to work closely with educational teams and families
Your Role:
- Evaluate and assess students to determine specific therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized and group-based intervention plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and submit Medicaid claims as required
- Input daily notes and data into ECATS according to school and regulatory guidelines
- Support educational teams in adapting learning environments and materials
- Communicate progress and strategies with families and staff to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in OT-related accommodations
