- Ability to adapt strategies to suit diverse student needs
- Passion for empowering students with varied abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine student needs and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEPs
- Work directly with students one-on-one or in small groups to build fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into the school routine
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and required reports according to district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations on student accommodations and modifications
