Qualifications and Experience:
- NY State Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare OT settings preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and staff
- Adaptability to manage a varied caseload and ever-changing student needs
- Compassionate, solution-focused, and organized approach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct OT services to K-12 students in both individual and group formats
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to maximize student participation
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings as required
- Contribute positively to school culture and student connectivity
