Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Strong foundation in OT practices within healthcare and educational contexts
- Ability and enthusiasm to work full-time, on-site, and engage directly with students and staff
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teachers, support personnel, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to foster students’ independence and participation in school activities
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on student outcomes
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and other team members to support student achievement
- Keep thorough and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
