Occupational Therapist School Setting in Rosamond, CA

Qualifications & Experience:
- California Occupational Therapist license (current and in good standing)
- Previous experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans for students ages 3-21
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ needs according to educational guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions within the school environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing clinical insight and progress updates
- Educate and guide teachers and school staff on strategies to support students’ success throughout their school day
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
