Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Illinois Occupational Therapy (OT) license is required
- Experience working with early childhood or pediatric populations is highly preferred
- Familiarity with school-based OT practices and collaborative approaches
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and contribute within a multidisciplinary team
- Compliance with all state and district requirements for school-based practitioners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for early childhood students
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster student success
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to student progress reporting
- Implement adaptive strategies and modifications to support access to the curriculum
- Contribute to the development of a positive, inclusive classroom environment
