Occupational Therapist School Setting in Round Lake, IL

The role spans the 2026-2027 school year, with new hire orientation scheduled from August 12th to August 14th.
In this position, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families to assess, plan, and deliver effective therapy solutions that help students achieve their goals. Desired Qualifications:
- Active Illinois OT or COTA license (please provide verification upon submission)
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting highly valued
- Commitment to supporting students within K-12, with flexibility for diverse needs and caseloads
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Passion for working with children and supporting special education initiatives
- Ability to work onsite at the school location as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services for K-12 students, adapting support to a range of needs
- Conduct assessments, develop therapy goals, and deliver individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate and consult with teachers, families, and other specialists to enhance student outcomes
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in team meetings
- Support students’ physical, emotional, and academic development through evidence-based practices
