Your Background:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
- Active state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school-based settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet students' individual needs and goals
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers and education staff to promote student participation and inclusion
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with families and educators to support students in both academic and functional skills
- Adapt therapy techniques to fit the school environment and each student’s unique challenges
