Qualifications and Experience:
- Current license as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Background in healthcare, home health, or teletherapy occupational therapy a plus
- Strong communication skills to work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in assessment, development of individualized therapy plans, and documentation
- Passion for fostering growth and independence in children with diverse needs
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify strengths and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver occupational therapy services in schools, home settings, and via teletherapy platforms
- Educate and support school staff and family members in therapy-related strategies
- Track progress with accurate records and adapt intervention as needed
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings when required
