Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience providing therapy services in a school environment preferred
- Proficiency in assessment, development, and implementation of individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Strong rapport-building skills with students, families, and school staff
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Capacity to manage a caseload and adapt therapy plans to varied student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to students ages K–12 as determined by their IEPs and 504 plans
- Conduct evaluations, develop and update individualized treatment plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members for comprehensive student support
- Offer recommendations and strategies for classroom and environmental modifications
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
- Travel between school locations as necessary within the district
