Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license and certification required
- Experience in school-based settings, including teletherapy and onsite services
- Proficiency in fine and gross motor skill assessment and development
- Familiarity with working alongside Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate as part of an educational multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based OT services to students according to IEP plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and address student needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support academic and functional growth
- Adapt and modify materials or classroom environments to promote student participation
- Coach and consult with teachers and support staff for integrated student interventions
- Maintain accurate, timely progress notes and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based student plans
